Aisling Joyce is passionate about the field of mediation and the opportunities it presents to the parties involved in disputes. As a mediator, she believes in the possibility of reaching more amicable agreements, sustaining ongoing relationships and the more cost effective solution that mediation provides in comparison to resolution through the courts.

Communication is key, and mediation opens the door to people and entities to become empowered and work through and solve their own disputes, facilitated by a mediator.

Who We Are
Aisling has strong business acumen, having worked as Chief of Operations and HR, leading a 500-strong team daily across 14 locations in her family retail and commercial business for over 10 years. This, combined with her experience working with a global PLC in the early part of her career have ensured she is adept at dealing with conflict successfully in any organisation.
Aisling is a strong negotiator and project manager, having successfully led the transition of the family business to a multinational PLC. In what was the purchasers first acquisition in Ireland in 25 years, Aisling played a key role in the completion of the transaction as well as ensuring a smooth transition. She understands change management having guided and welcomed teams through multiple transfer of undertakings ensuring the same dedicated, passionate, family culture remained.
People have always been central to Aisling's work and she has gained years of experience dealing with all types of personality, background and circumstance. She believes communication is essential - be it careful listening or speaking - when people communicate effectively, great things can be achieved.
​Aisling's formal education includes, a Diploma in Mediator Training from the Law Society of Ireland. She is registered as a mediator with the Mediator's Institute of Ireland. ​She also holds a MSc in Project Management from UCD Smurfit Business School, and B. Corporate Law and Diploma in Irish from University College Galway.
